  • Very Good Pair of William IV Cut Glass Spirit Decanters, England Circa 1835

    Both ovoid glass bodies exhibiting a slight greyish hue, decorated with scalloped and diamond cut detail, rising to ringed necks fitted with their original dedicated and numbered mushroom stoppers, the undersides of their bases showing incised sunburst detail.

    Decanters of these diminutive proportions were used specifically for distilled spirits such as brandy, rum or gin as opposed to port or still wines. 8.25” high x 3.75” diameter.
