The richly figured mahogany case showing an arched & glazed door fitted with pierced ormolu spandrels, fronting an engraved silvered face signed Ant. Shepperley, London, with blued steel hands & roman numerals surmounted by a strike/silent dial. The 8 day twin fusee movement with verge escapement striking on the hour and having a pull repeat. Original keys intact.

Anthony Shepperley is recorded as working in Long Row, London in 1814.
