  • Two 18th Century Chinese Export Porcelain Batavia Ware Tea Bowls,
    Yongzheng Period (1723-1735)


    Both showing glossy brown glazed exteriors, their interiors decorated with hand painted enamels – one with sprays of flower blossoms in Famille Rose enamels, the other in an Imari palette of cobalt blue & vermillion, both rims decorated with running bands of flowerheads.    One bowl with a frit to the rim, both with interior hairline cracks but do not transfer to their exteriors, one minor flake to the interior of the foot rims.

    Dimensions, 1.75” high x 3” diameter.
