Pair of Egyptian Revival Cold Painted Figural Candlesticks, Austria Circa 1925

A striking pair of early 20th century Egyptian Revival cold painted spelter figural candlesticks, both showing columns cast in the form of finely modelled male & female Pharoahs holding aloft urn shaped vessels serving as candle nozzles, standing atop circular bases and decorated overall with hand painted detail.  Both showing areas of surface wear but no structural damage or losses. The underside of one base showing minor rudimentary restoration. Height, 15.25”.
