    A finely carved ivory grouping of a monkey trainer dressed in traditional attire, together with two costumed performing monkeys – one atop his shoulder shading his brow while looking left, the other standing at his feed holding up a branch of peaches, both with very charming animated expressions. The trainer shown carrying a lion’s mask in his right hand. Signed on the underside. Height, 8.5”
