Fine and Rare Charles II Oyster-Veneered Two Part Chest of Drawers in Oak, England Circa 1670
The oak case of pegged construction inset with vertical walnut panels and fitted with three graduated full width drawers, all showing oyster-veneered olivewood fronts inlaid with circular pearwood stringing, framed within raised panels and fitted with later but stylistically correct brass drop pulls. Raised overall atop stile feet fronted by later applied bracket panels.
