An Early 20th Century Rococo Inspired Gilt Bronze & Enamel Jewellery Casket, English, Circa 1800
The richly gilded bombe-formed body decorated overall with foliate & scrolled elements, the front, sides & hinged top inset with turquoise enamel panels decorated with floral geometric motifs, the lid opening to an interior lined in burgundy velvet, raised overall upon four cyma-curved supports terminating to scrolled feet. The underside bearing makers marks for Erhard & Sohne, Germany. In fine overall condition.
