A Very Fine 19th Century Blonde Tortoiseshell Trinket / Jewellery Box, Continental Circa 1830
The rectangular shaped case panelled in highly figured blonde tortoiseshell bordered with ivory stringing, the hinged top centred by a silver lozenge and opening to a mahogany lined interior with beaded detail. Raised on four silvered metal ball feet. Dimensions, 2.75” high x 5.5” wide x 3.5” deep
