A Stunning Pair of Wireless ‘Musen’ Cloisonne Vases, Meiji or Taisho Period, Circa 1920

 

Both ovoid shaped bases rising to flanged shoulders to slender ‘crane necks with flaring rims, decorated with enamelled wireless motifs of bamboo & songbirds against a subtle periwinkle enamelled ground. Both raised on a domed foot decorated with multicoloured geometric enamelled motifs.

Measuring 9.75” high.
