The richly figured mahogany case inset with brass stringing and brass mouldings, opening to an interior fitted with two inkwells and a folding gilt-tooled leather writing surface surmounting twin document compartments, one containing a sprung ‘secret’ drawer. Original lock mechanism and key intact. Dimensions: 6.5” high x 14” wide x 9.5” high
