A Highly Decorative Oriental Inspired Composition Humidor, Continental Circa 1920
A most unique and highly decorative orientalist inspired tobacco humidor, showing a hexagonal shaped composition body similar to chalk-ware, decorated with match-pockets moulded as oriental masks set against tasselled panels with alternating ribbed strike surfaces, fitted with a conforming lid having a finial in the form of an oriental woman with high chignon hair, decorated overall in a striking glossy vermillion-red paint. Likely Austrian or German. Dimensions, 5.5” high x 5.5” diameter.
