A Fine Early 19th Century Dutch Silver (.833 fine) Sugar Sifting Ladle, The Hague 1818
The octagonal shaped bowl with hand pierced detail and a beaded rim, affixed to a flattened tapering handle decorated with ‘bright cut’ detail, the reverse bearing impressed hallmarks noting assay office marks for The Hague, purity marks, makers marks V.B and date marks for 1818.
