A Fine and Heavy George III Sterling Silver Pocket Snuff Box, Birmingham 1812

The cavetto-shaped rectangular body with ribbed detail, fitted with a flush mounted hinged lid opening to a fine gilt washed interior. The lids rim bearing impressed hallmarks, maker’s marks partially rubbed - possibly IL.

Dimensions, .75” high x 3” wide x 2.7/8” deep. Weight, 71 grams
