A 19th Century Mughal Silver Pandan / Betel Box, Northern India
The cylindrical body flaring gently towards the base, fitted with a conforming domed lid with a lotus-bud final over a flattened & canted rim. Both decorated overall with repeating bands of hand chased geometric & foliate motifs. Dimensions, 3.25” high x 3” diameter (at base). Weight, 122 grams.
