    A 19th Century Copper Turbot Poaching Pan ‘Turbotiere’, French Circa 1890


    A finely constructed and relatively rare cooking vessel of heavy gauge copper mounted with riveted brass handles and having a tinned interior, the underside showing a rugged dovetailed construction. The vessels shape is intended to conform to the body of turbot or flounder. Dimensions, 5.5” x 22” x 16.75”
    A most charming piece of 19th century copper cookware that will enhance any kitchen setting, as well as function very nicely as a centrepiece, condiment tray or a serving element.
