A 19th Century Chinese Export Porcelain Chestnut Basket & Flat, Canton Circa 1840
The oval shaped basket having a pierced and reticulated body decorated with hand painted oriental themes, resting upon its conforming pierced flat. Overall condition of both is excellent, some small unglazed firing spots noted along the interior perimeter of the basket’s base.
Dimensions, (basket) 3” x 8.5” x 7.5”, (flat) 9” x 7.5”.
