    A finely detailed grouping depicting a man and woman attired in traditional costume seated in front of a donabe (cook-pot) while sharing a meal, the man tends to the pot with chopsticks, the woman reaching towards the fire to warm her hands, beside them is a small table set with cooking utensils and fish. Both figures exhibiting finely detailed facial features and costumes accented with stained & inked highlights, (note the inro & conch shaped netsuke knotted about the man’s waist).
    Signed on the underside in characters. Dimensions, 1.75” high x 4.5” long x 3” deep
