Thank you for visiting Ernest Johnson Antiques.
Since 1989 Ernest Johnson Antiques has been offering discriminating clients a select inventory of 18th – 20th century English, European and Asian Fine & Decorative Art and has established the reputation of maintaining what is arguably the finest selection of period antique furniture & accessories in the National Capital region.
Ernest Johnson Antiques is a member of the Canadian Antique Dealers Association (CADA) which is a vetted Canadian Government chartered organization established in 1972 that currently represents approximately 30 dealers nationwide. Ernest Johnson has also authored a monthly antiques column for Ottawa Life Magazine, in addition to having written feature articles for The Upper Canadian - Canada's foremost antiques magazine.
Since moving from our original premises adjacent the grounds of Rideau Hall (the official residence of The Governor General of Canada) we have shifted to what is now primarily an online showroom which is updated monthly. However, a partial inventory of fine & decorative art is presently onsite at The Ottawa Antique Market, located 1179-A Bank Street in Ottawa South.
Please review our partial online inventory at your leisure and should you have any questions or requests please feel free to contact us and a timely response will follow.
