ABOUT US
Welcome to Ernest Johnson antiques
Since 1989 Ernest Johnson has been offering discriminating clients a select inventory of fine 18th & 19th century English & Continental Furniture & Accessories, and over the years has established a reputation of having what is arguably the premier antiques shop in Ottawa.
Ernest Johnson is a former Sotheby's.Com Associate and is a member of the Canadian Antiques Dealers Association (C.A.D.A.), which is a government chartered organization established in 1967 that represents approximately 50 members nationwide.
The basis of the stores inventory is primarily that of furniture, specifically from the 18th & 19th centuries with the emphasis on that of the Georgian and Biedermeier periods, however later periods and period style pieces also make up part of the stock selection, as do paintings, silver, porcelain and assorted objets d'art.
Please take a moment and review our online listing, which represents only a sampling of our inventory and should you have any questions or requests please do not hesitate to contact us.

Hours: Mon-Sat 10:00am until 6:00pm, Sundays until 5:00. Additional online inventory items may be viewed either on-site or 'in-situ' by scheduling an appointment.
